Meningitis and encephalitis, Endocarditis, Viral hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Respiratory infections (pneumonia, Covid-19), Tuberculosis, Gastrointestinal infections, Salmonellosis, Clostridioides, Brucellosis, Exanthematic diseases, Monkeypox, Herpetic infections, Urinary tract infections, Osteomyelitis and prosthetic infections
Prerequisites
The central prerequisite is knowledge of the basic notions of cell biology, including the functioning of unicellular organisms, and the mechanisms of the host immune response

Frequency
Attendance at face-to-face lessons is compulsory. Attendance will be recorded by roll call at the start of each lesson. Exceptions to attendance in the classroom will be evaluated by the CdS governance in relation to specific clinical needs
Exam mode
Overall evaluation of the main concepts learned. Oral exam at the end of the course. Ongoing test in the middle of the course to evaluate any learning deficits. To pass the exam it is necessary to achieve a grade of not less than 18/30. The student must demonstrate that he/she has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered and must use appropriate language. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he/she has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course.
