Home care devices materials and techniques, oral hygiene in pediatric patients, oral hygiene in orthodontic patients, oral hygiene in prosthetic patients, extrinsic and intrinsic discolorations and dental whitening.

Prerequisites
To be able to understand the teaching contents and to achieve the learning objectives, at the beginning of the didactic activities foreseen by the didactic module student must possess the knowledge on anatomy and pathology of the oral cavity
Books
For the examination of the exam, we suggest a theoretical deepening already from the beginning of the course attendance.
For the purpose of consultation and in-depth study, the students will receive slide at the end of each lesson

Teaching mode
The teacher delivers lectures with traditional methods with audiovisual aids and scheduling of lessons as reported on GOMP Aure/Orari system, published on the website of the Dental School.
Exam mode
To pass the exam the student must obtain a grade of 18/30 in each module. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the
topics related to the science of Dental Hygiene, a basic knowledge of the topics of oral care, professional hygiene and periodontal anatomy and to be able to implement it in the future profession.
To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to link them in a logical and consistent way.
The test is a barrier. The overall assessment also takes into account the opinions of the other teachers of the integrated course for each of which a test is scheduled.
