Course objectives

At the end of the course the student must know how to perform bibliographic research and use databases. At the end of the course the student must be able to consult the databases, carry out bibliographic research, indispensable bibliographic research for the preparation of the final thesis.

Prerequisites
the operational protocols of primary prevention, secondary prevention and maintenance of tertiary prevention for the health of the dental-periodontal tissues will be explored, starting from the motivational approach to correct lifestyles of home oral hygiene for the mechanical and chemical control of the bacterial biofilm and completing with the operational phases of professional oral hygiene with manual and mechanical instruments.

Frequency
Following paragraph 4.5 of the Regulations of the Dental School, the student is required to attend educational activities, formal, non-formal, and vocational. The frequency is checked by the teachers through signature / updated lists provided by the Academic Office, as established by CCLMOPD. The certificate of mandatory attendance to the teaching course is required for the student to be admitted to the final test.
Exam mode
The candidate will have to formulate a paper that demonstrates the learning obtained, in word and power-point To pass the exam you must obtain a grade of not less than 18/30 in each module. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered in the course, a basic knowledge of the topics covered and be able to set up a treatment plan independently. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to link them in a logical and consistent way.
Lesson mode
