THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING
Course objectives
Upon completion of the course the student must know the main anatomical-surgical structures of interest to the oral surgeon, the healing of wounds in the oral cavity both in the healthy patient and with systemic diseases, the main problems and pathologies inherent to oral surgery, the techniques major surgical procedures, the appropriate methods to solve complications and avoid errors and the fundamental integration of the figure of the dental hygienist in support of oral surgery. Upon completion of the course the student must know how to manage the complications relevant to the professional figure of the dental hygienist and implement clinical and maintenance protocols in the immediate post-surgical and subsequent follow-up. The student must also be able to interpret signs and symptoms, as well as radiographic images, in order to intercept any pathologies affecting the soft and / or peri-implant tissues.
