Course program
The course also includes the development of basic linguistic skills related to technical medical–radiological terminology, focusing on the vocabulary used across different diagnostic imaging modalities — Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Conventional Radiology, Angiography, and Nuclear Medicine. Students will also learn English phrases and expressions commonly used to communicate with patients during diagnostic examinations, in order to foster effective communication skills within international clinical settings.
Prerequisites
Students are expected to have at least a basic knowledge of the English language, corresponding to the level typically attained in upper secondary school, in order to understand basic technical terminology and common expressions used in medical–radiological communication.
Books
During the course, scientific texts in English will be provided by the instructor, with the aim of enhancing students’ understanding of international radiological terminology and promoting the critical reading of scientific literature in the field of diagnostic imaging.
