Course objectives

To provide knowledge about the concept of health and prevention in order to promote appropriate behavior to the maintenance of health. To analyze the environmental risk factors in order to help ensure a "safe environment" for the user and the operator. To know the safety procedures in the workplace to prevent the risk professional in the field of radiation protection. To define the specific nursing skills in the protection of public health;learn about the environment and issues; toknow protection systems and the appropriate use of personal protective equipment; toknow the main nursing diagnoses and nursing care needs of the population belonging to the service of radiotherapy identify a specific health education designed to prevent the onset of complications.

Frequency

Exam mode
The student must be able to master for each question the scientific aspect and the rationale according to updated evidence, the clinical aspect, the prevention and initial evaluation of complications, the nursing care aspect and the relationship with the care team that identifies specific technical, relational, educational, intellectual and managerial skills.
