- ethical, psychological and deontological aspects of the profession: professional secrecy, code of ethics, profession and professionalism, informed consent, organ transplants, medically assisted procreation, regenerative medicine.
- fundamentals of the history of medicine. Epistemological status of medicine and evolution of the concept of disease: ontological, functional, normative and evolutionary concepts of disease.
- Evolution of the ideas of health and disease: the experimental and microbiological revolution, molecular and genomic medicine.
