Economy and management of art and culture
Course objectives
The course aims to provide students with the tools to understand and manage the economic and managerial dynamics related to cultural institutions, whether private, public or nonprofit. During the course students and students will acquire a solid foundation of the fundamental concepts and languages for interpreting business and managerial phenomena, developing a sound theoretical and practical understanding of the economic dynamics affecting the cultural sector. Specific object of the course will be: - an in-depth study of the role and peculiarities of businesses operating in the cultural sector - The analysis of cultural organizations with the methodologies of business economics and management. - The study of the main management activities of enterprises with special reference to cultural enterprises.
