Course program
Physical examination, diagnosis, pathophysiology and notions of therapy of pathologies of the pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, paranasal sinuses, ears and vestibular system, neck listed below.
Pharynx: acute and chronic pharyngitis, tonsillitis, adenoiditis, neoplastic pathology of the nasopharynx, oropharynx and hypopharynx,
Oral cavity: stomatitis, preneoplastic and neoplastic lesions.
Larynx: acute and chronic laryngitis, hoarseness, dysphagia, benign, preneoplastic and malignant growths of the larynx, laryngeal paralysis.
Nose and paranasal sinuses: acute and chronic rhinitis and rhinosinusitis, deviation of the nasal septum, epistaxis, nasal polyposis, neoplasms of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
Ears and vestibule: otitis externa and media, Meniere's syndrome, otosclerosis, hearing loss, vertigo, hearing loss.
Neck: Benign and malignant swellings of the neck and salivary glands. Obstructive pathology of the salivary glands.
Prerequisites
The student must have learned the notions of anatomy and physiology of the ear, pharynx, larynx, nose, paranasal sinuses and neck before approaching the study of physiopathology and the notions of treatment of ENT pathologies.

Frequency
Attendance at lessons is compulsory for both theoretical and practical lessons.
Exam mode
The student will be subjected to an interview where open questions will be asked on the most common ENT diseases. The judgment will be assigned on a maximum score of 30/30 cum laude in agreement with all the teachers of the integrated course. A score equal to or greater than 18 is required.
