RESPIRA SAPIENZA, a Third Mission project led by Professor Antonella Di Sotto of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, together with UNITAB – Sapienza Tobacco Unit, represented by Professor Maria Sofia Cattaruzza of the Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases, has organized the workshop "Unmasking the Appeal – unmasking the deceptions of the tobacco industry: strategies, new products, and risks to health and the environment." It will be held on May 28, 2026, in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate of Sapienza University of Rome, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event, promoted on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, will be open to the academic community and some schools that participated in the "Respira Sapienza… at school" campaign. Approximately 400 people, including students, school administrators, teachers, and chaperones, will participate.
Participating students will receive a certificate of participation.
