The final examination consists in the preparation and oral defence of a thesis written in English, on a specific topic agreed upon with a faculty member responsible for one of the courses included in the student's curriculum.
The thesis must be developed with critical insight and originality, under the supervision of a thesis advisor. It is intended to demonstrate the candidate’s scientific knowledge, mastery of research methods, and ability to construct and interpret arguments, as well as project planning and organisational skills acquired over the two-year programme.
