Course program
Powers and operations with polynomials. Equations and inequalities, algebraic systems. Irrational Equations and inequalities. Logarithms, properties, logarithmic Equations and inequalities. Absolute value, properties, equations and inequalities with absolute value. Trigonometry. Geometry: the equation of a line, conic sections and standard forms of equations
Prerequisites
Catch-up course in mathematics: we will introduce the formal language necessary to tackle the first semester course in mathematical analysis. In particular, we review notations and results from high school mathematics, which is then supposed to be "known" in the first semester.
