Course program
Mechanical properties of materials, effect of irradiation. Fuel, moderator, shield. Steel alloys for chemical and nuclear engineering. Non-ferrous alloys and composite materials for nuclear engineering. Materials for storage tanks, piping, thermal circuits, gaskets.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of materials technology and applied chemistry: chemical, physical and mechanical properties of materials, principles of corrosion and durability.
