Part I: Introduction - what is evaluation and assessment - in which areas it applies - crucial concepts: complexity, causality, change - models of evaluation (process, performance, impact) Part II: Tools for evaluation - measures - information systems - statistical methods (cost-benefit, counterfactual analysis, difference-of-differences, etc.) - functions applied in evaluation (monitoring, reporting, forecasting, accounting, performance evaluation, assessment) - some statistical techniques (cluster, hypotheses testing) Part III: Individual focuses
