The argumentative writing workshop is aimed at students of Lettere Moderne and is aimed at the acquisition of the skills necessary for the production of argumentative texts, in view of the writing of the thesis and integration into the world of work. The first part will be focused on defining the characteristics of a written text, then some text typologies (summary, review, newspaper article, essay) will be analyzed, with writing and analysis exercises. The last part will be dedicated to the thesis, with emphasis on topic selection, text structure and bibliographic research.

Knowledge of Italian grammar and basic issues of linguistics.

Attendance is mandatory

The evaluation test will be in written form. There is no grade, only passing or failing the test.

The course will be held in presential form and is laboratory-based. Lectures and classroom exercises are planned.
