THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODELING

Course objectives

A) Knowledge and understanding: the student will acquire basic skills in the understanding and production of the Italian sign language. He/she will need to be able to understand the main points of a dicussion dealing with familiar topics about everyday life (work, school, free time); B) Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: The student will be able to apply his/her knowledge to communicate clear information on common topics related to everyday life or work acrivities, recognizing both general meaning and specific information, as long as the argument is articulated with clarity in a rather familiar variety. C) Autonomy of judgment: in comparison with other sign language users, the student will be able to measure his/her competence and explore through imitation - which is one of the basic ways of language learning - new expressive skills. D) Communication skills: the student will be able to communicate clear information on common topics related to everyday life or work through the LIS, recognizing both the general meaning and specific information. E) Learning skills: the student will be able to improve his / her expressive skills autonomously by referring to the appropriate consultation tools.
