GENERAL INFORMATION ON ATTENDING CLASSES
- Students are advised to check the Faculty of Arts and Humanities website for the 2026–2027 Academic Calendar, as well as the University Academic Calendar for University closure days during which teaching activities are suspended.
- At the discretion of the lecturers, some courses may start on a date later than the one indicated by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Students are therefore advised to check the lecturer’s notice board regularly for any updates.
- Courses entitled “Language and Translation” include, in addition to classes taught by the course lecturer, language practice sessions (lettorato) conducted by native-speaker language teaching assistants and experts. The usual structure is one 2-hour slot with the course lecturer + two 2-hour language practice sessions. Students are advised to check the specific arrangements with the lecturer responsible for the relevant language.
LANGUAGE PRACTICE SCHEDULE 2026–27
- Courses that are not included in the timetable will be offered during the second semester, and their schedules will be published at a later date.
- The schedules of the contract-based courses listed below are not currently available in the timetable, as the appointment procedure is still being finalized. All information concerning the lecturer and the course—including the class start date, final timetable, and assigned classroom—will be published as soon as the appointment procedure has been formally completed.

- ACADEMIC ENGLISH – Group 1 (students with surnames A–L) – 1st and 2nd semesters
- ACADEMIC ENGLISH – Group 2 (students with surnames M–Z) – 1st and 2nd semesters
- DIDACTICS OF MODERN LANGUAGES – Group 2 (Arabic, Korean, Hindi, Persian) – 2nd semester
- PERSIAN LANGUAGE AND TRANSLATION 3 – 1st and 2nd semesters
- LITERATURE OF ENGLISH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES – semester to be determined

On the degree programme’s Course Catalogue page, under the ATTENDING / COURSES section, students will find the list of courses divided by curriculum. Next to each course, under the “Semester” column, the indication “1st” may appear.
Please note that this indication is not accurate for courses that will actually be offered in the second semester. Students should therefore consider the “1st” semester indication only for courses actually offered in the first semester, cross-checking the information with the Class Timetable section and with the information provided on the individual lecturer’s webpage.
