Course program
There will be c. 6-8 hours of teaching for all 3rd-year translation students, regardless of the language you have chosen. These lessons will be in Italian and will provide a general overview: Introduction to Translation Theory as well as introducing a common theme (themes for past yeas include: ecoly, cultural translation, retranslation).
The module will then concentrate on English to Italian translation and will be taught in English. Given the nature of the course, a strong competence in Italian is also necessary.
After the compulsory number of lessons, students will have the option of continuing with translation workshops in class.
To earn 6 credits (CFU), the student must attend and/or pass both the lecturer-led module and the written/oral lettorato course.
Both the lecturer-led module and the lettorato will be taught in the second semestre.
