Course program
Third year mediation course. The module will propose a study of the theory and practice of translation from Spanish into Italian and vice versa in the fields of technical-scientific, legal, literary, journalistic and audiovisual languages, with particular reference to short forms, and an in-depth study on the American variants of Spanish .
The theme chosen for the course will be that of re-translation: the texts chosen for the exercises and readings will concern this theme.
The teacher's lessons will be preceded by some preparatory lessons that are mandatory for everyone

Frequency
For non-attending students, the study program does not change, except for the changes indicated in the basic bibliography, but students must contact the teacher at least two months before the exam to agree on the activities that replace those carried out in class.
Exam mode
The evaluation will be established on the basis of participation and the results of the tests proposed in itinere and the result of the final translation test.
In case of failure of the test, students can repeat it in subsequent sessions.
To pass the exam it is necessary to achieve a grade of not less than 18/30. The student must demonstrate that he has acquired a sufficient knowledge of the global development of Hispano-American literature, a basic knowledge of the main authors and that he is able to situate authors and texts in their correct temporal development.
To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired an excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, being able to connect them in a logical and coherent way.
Lesson mode
The course will take place in the second semester of the academic year, and will be divided into thematic units proposed by the teacher.
