Oriental Languages and Cultures

The course aims to improve students’ knowledge of grammar and sintax of classical Chinese language, and to improve students’ translation abilities. At the end of the course, students will be able to undertake reading and translation of ancient Chinese texts, and moreover to use hermeneutic tools related to this topic in order to carry out independent translation and research.
