General objectives: the course, devised in frontal classes, enables the students to master the subject matters (knowledge), so that they can use and apply it to other study fields by using the correct and specific technical language (competences) Specific objectives: the course • Provides the students with the knowledge and understanding of the basic elements of the discipline • Develops the students ability to relate all that they have learnt to other historical-cultural disciplines • Enables the students to use the acquired knowledge and the specific language they have learnt for the so called “transversal competences”
