1. Main Clinical Manifestations and Scenarios of Diseases of Internal Medicine Interest:: Pain, fever, syncope, altered states of consciousness, impaired respiratory and circulatory function (e.g., dyspnea, cough, hypoxia, edema, etc.), impaired gastrointestinal function (e.g., dysphagia, jaundice, diarrhea/constipation, ascites, unintentional weight loss, etc.), altered renal and urinary tract function (e.g., fluid-electrolyte imbalances, dysnatremias, nephrotic and nephritic syndromes, etc.), and hematological abnormalities (e.g., anemia, hemorrhages, thrombosis, etc.).
2. Clinical Complexity, Medical Uncertainty, and Its Management.
3. Gender Equity in Health: Application of sex- and gender-specific approaches in understanding chronic cardio-metabolic diseases (e.g., Diabetes, Dyslipidemia, Sleep Disorders, etc.).
4. Precision Medicine.
5. Hypercholesterolemia, Hypertriglyceridemia, Rare Lipid Metabolism Disorders and Their Complications (e.g., Acute Myocardial Infarction, Chronic Ischemic Heart Disease, Acute Pancreatitis, Hepatic Steatosis, Liver Cirrhosis, Secondary Diabetes, etc.).
6. Genetic Diagnosis and Evaluation of VUS (Variants of Uncertain Significance); Germline mutation detection through Sanger sequencing.
