Exam mode
Aim: exam is aimed at verifying the mastery of conceptual models and techniques of interest of the course, as well as the awareness of applicative aspects of these models and techniques in organizations.
No intermediate exams are allowed. Exams will be held after the end of the course, according to the time scheduling proposed by the faculty.
The overall exam is composed by a written exam (consisting in four open questions to be answered within one hour in two pages) and an oral exam (average duration 20 minutes). The achievement of a positive result in the written exam is the necessary condition to be admitted to the oral exam, that usually takes places one or two weeks after the written exam. During the oral exam not only theoretical kwowledges (investigated through the written exam), but also competencies acquired through laboratory, are verified.
The result of the exam will be expressed through two distinct evaluations. The first evaluation concerns the four theoretical questions, marked out of thirty, and therefore has to be integrated with the evaluation of the oral exam. Thus, the final evaluation can be higher, equal or lower with respect to the evaluation of the written exam, on the basis of the degree of mastery expressed by students during the oral exam.
