The topics covered in the preparatory courses are essential prerequisites for the degree programme’s core courses in Mathematics and Physics
The preparatory courses are strongly recommended for all first- and second-year students with academic debts, and are open to all students who, wishing to enrol on the Natural Sciences Bachelor's degree, intend to strengthen their knowledge of mathematics and/or Earth Sciences in order to tackle the university curriculum.
First-year students who have attended at least 50 per cent of the preparatory course lectures will be eligible in October to sit a special examination designed to help them make up for their academic debt.
