Presentation
The Master of Science in EcoBiology aims to provide advanced training in the theories, issues, and applications of modern ecology, with an emphasis on functional and evolutionary aspects of: the functioning of terrestrial, marine, and inland water ecosystems; the dynamics and sensitivity of ecological networks to environmental changes, including global changes; biodiversity management, population conservation, and the impact of alien species. Graduates will be prepared for scientific and technological research aimed at understanding biologically based ecological phenomena and developing new methodologies for assessing the "development of human society compatible with nature." Particular emphasis will be placed on the scientific method, experimental approaches, and techniques and methods for data acquisition and analysis.
