Course program
To provide students with the ability to critically read scientific articles and with the conceptual tools needed to develop scientific research, the program will cover the following aspects: 1. How to carry out an effective bibliographic search in the scientific field: principles, issues, and applications; 2. How to use the most up-to-date scientific search engines: principles, issues, and applications; 3. How to prepare the written report and project presentation: guidelines and tools; 4. How to apply Artificial Intelligence to scientific research: potential and limitations. The module will include: 1. A practical seminar on preparing a PhD research project: writing, activity planning, and risk assessment; 2. A practical seminar on preparing a Master’s thesis: from writing to presentation; 3. Visits to museums to assess the feasibility of a scientific research project. At the end of the course, the student will be guided in the design, presentation, and discussion of a thesis proposal of their choice.
