The Master’s Degree in Development and International Cooperation Studies is a joint program offered by the Faculties of Political Science, Sociology, Communication; Economics; Humanities and Philosophy. It is designed to equip students with advanced skills and knowledge that can be applied in the field of international development cooperation—whether in governments, NGOs, or international organizations.
This program provides a strong interdisciplinary foundation in social, economic, and institutional issues faced by developing countries. You’ll also gain practical tools to analyze key challenges and design impactful development policies and projects.
The graduate students will learn how to:

  • Apply key methods used by international and national cooperation agencies;
  • Design, manage, and evaluate complex development projects;
  • Work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.

The course is offered in two tracks:

  • One entirely in Italian
  • One entirely in English

The program offers advanced training in:

  • Designing and managing international development projects;
  • Monitoring and evaluating development policies and programs;
  • Using communication and information tools for project management and outreach;
