Dear third-year students of the Aerospace Engineering degree program and second-year students of the Space and Astronautical Engineering degree program,
We have received an invitation for a limited number of students (8 from the BAER program and 8 from the MSAR program) to attend the Luigi Broglio Award ceremony, which will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Sala della Regina at Palazzo Montecitorio on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, on the occasion of National Space Day. The award, named after the “father” of Italian astronautics, was created with the aim of recognizing individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development of national astronautics. The ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, the President of ASI, Teodoro Valente, members of the Parliamentary Intergroup for the Space Economy, and other authorities.
The CAD will select participants based on merit from among those of you who express interest in the event if the number of applicants exceeds the maximum threshold.
Therefore, if you are interested in participating, please fill out the following form in its entirety: Selection of students to participate in the “Luigi Broglio” Award ceremony no later than 11:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8.
Selected students will be contacted by email.
Best regards,
Prof. Francesco Nasuti
