A first part dedicated to examining the general and contextual concepts of 1. Legal foundations of professional practice 2. Legal - Professional evolution of the biomedical laboratory technician 3. Didactic organization in the university training of the Health Professions 4. Training activities. Classes of health professions. University training credits (CFU) 5. Evolution of training courses, integrated courses. Total 8 hours A second in-depth part will be dedicated to: 1. Areas of responsibility and competence relating to the performance of the technician's work. 2. Code of Ethics. Notes on Ethics, aspects of ethics in public health. 3. From training to professional activity 4. Business processes. Institutional bodies of the company. Company deed. Organization chart. DAPS. Roles in health services management processes. Total 8 hours A third final part will be dedicated to practical aspects concerning: 1. Personal data processing. Privacy Act. Code regarding the protection of personal data. The Guarantor. 2. Electronic Health File (DSE). Informed consent. 3. The Continuing Medical Education system. National goals. Agenas and Cogeaps. Training dossier. myECM. Total 4 hours
Prerequisites
The student who accesses the course of ''The quality of biomedical services" must have followed the courses of the first and second years and have acquired the introductory notions of Biology, Biochemistry, Anatomy and Histology. In the previous year the student must have also acquired a good study methodology and an adequate self-assessment capacity.

Teaching mode
Lectures will take place on the front and will be aimed at deepening the topics of the course, favoring the clinical-diagnostic aspect. The method of exposure and discussion will facilitate the active participation of students also through a more direct relationship between teacher and learner.
