MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGIES

Course objectives

Students will acquire knowledge on the basic techniques of molecular biotechnology and recombinant DNA. Students will be able to independently assess the advantages and disadvantages of the various experimental methodologies discussed. The development of the key skills and judgment by students will be encouraged through an open teacher-student discussion on the topics covered during the lessons. Students will be encouraged to improve the communication of the knowledge acquired through a continuous discussion of the issues addressed during the lecture. The skills acquired with the course are the necessary basis for the student to understand independently the molecular biotechnology techniques.
