Exam mode
Written exam consisting of grammar and translation exercises, related to the program explained in the course, preparatory to the oral test; final evaluation in the context of an oral exam.
The grammar part includes: exercises related to vocabulary recognition; exercises in which one has to complete sentences with agglutinative particles, nouns, verbs in the correct form, grammatical expressions; multiple-choice exercises designed to test knowledge of grammatical structures and conversational expressions; reading and comprehension; elaboration of short compositions using the studied structures and expressions.
The translation part consists of a passage to be translated from Japanese into Italian, with the use of dictionaries, to test comprehension and the ability to render grammatical structures into Italian.
Both tests must be passed with a passing grade.
The written test, preparatory to admission to the oral, does not average the grade the student gets in the oral.
In the oral test, the student is asked: to read a passage, from those studied in class, and to answer questions about the content read; to engage in a conversation aimed at verifying the maturation of the language skills covered in the course; and to perform some exercises from the book.
In the oral test, the student's ability to correctly apply the grammatical structures studied will also be assessed in different conversational contexts.
