Course program
The program includes the study of theoretical models through the material provided by the teachers and a practical part that includes the administration of a test. Students will be trained in scoring the test and in writing a report that describes the patient's profile according to the main dimensions of interest.
Prerequisites
For a profitable participation in the course, a basic knowledge of the main theoretical models that explain normal and pathological cognitive functioning (e.g. memory, attention, language) is required and that can be identified among the following topics: empirical methods that characterize the fields of psychology; evaluation techniques of psychological and psychobiological processes; forms of intervention in interpersonal, intragroup and intergroup relationships; forms of alteration of psychic processes and human behavior. Such fundamental knowledge is considered propaedeutic. Although during the course there are targeted reminders of these contents, it is important that the student possesses such theoretical bases so that participation in the activities is truly formative.
