Course program
The Course Program provides: 1. The victimization processes; 5. Primary and secondary victimization; 6. Direct, indirect and vicarious victimization; 7. Vulnerable Victims; 8; The consequences of victimisation; 9. Trauma and psychopathological consequences; 10. Teamwork with Law Enforcement Agencies, the Judiciary, NGOs and Anti-violence Centres; 11. Prevention programmes and projects; 12. Victim empowerment.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of the english language and basic elements of Psychology of Cognitive and Affective Processes are prerequisites.
Books
The course includes the study of a basic manual and material made available on the Moodle platform. As far as the Manual is concerned: Walklate, S. (Ed.). (2012). Handbook of victims and victimology. Routledge.
Frequency
Attendance is optional
Exam mode
The course includes an intermediate exam (in written form with open questions) and a final exam with a written test (open questions) with oral integration.
Lesson mode
The teaching will be carried out in the classroom, through exercises and presentations, in addition to the classic frontal teaching.
