ACQUIRING CFU FOR AAF - ENROLLED FROM THE 2011-2012 Academic Year
AAF1409 - INTERNSHIP - WORKSHOP - COMPUTER SKILLS
Acquiring CFU (Additional Training Credits) for AAF (Other Training Activities) is required by the student's program structure in the third or fourth year of the program.
AAFs do not only include lectures, but also various cultural activities, internships, workshops, study trips, and training, and must be agreed upon in advance with a supervisor. CFUs for AAFs concern university education and can be earned by completing some of the activities offered by the faculty and the degree program, or by choosing externally, always in collaboration with a degree program instructor, or through research assigned by the supervisor.
The procedures for obtaining the 2 CFUs (Additional Training Credits) are outlined below.
Students must email their certificate(s) signed by the instructor ONLY to the Architecture Degree Program Office (c.u. architettura1@uniroma1.it), along with an unpublished report in PDF format. Please note that 1 credit (CFU) is equivalent to 25 hours of study or training activity.
The Architecture Degree Program Office (c.u.) will have the certificates validated by the Teaching Committee. If the Office does not notify the student of any errors, they may register on Infostud for the scheduled exam sessions for exam registration. To allow the Office to collect the documentation and the Teaching Committee to verify it, please note that the documentation for recognition of both credits must be submitted at least 15 days before the scheduled exam session. Requests received close to the exam session cannot be evaluated and the credits cannot be registered.
The AAF credit registration procedure does NOT require the student to be present at the exam session. All eligible students will have their credits recorded by the exam date.
CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION
The documents to be submitted include: Report + Certificate of Attendance (signed by the event organizer) + Assignment Form completed by the student (which will be signed by the Teaching Committee upon approval). Please note that the application for AAF following event participation must be submitted within two months of the event's end date.
ERASMUS SCHOLARSHIPS
The document to be submitted is the certificate of validation of exams taken during Erasmus, issued by the Faculty Erasmus Office.
INTERNSHIP
The internship involves work in an architectural firm or other institution accredited on the TSP portal for an approximate period of seven working days (50 hours) and allows students to earn 2 credits for AAF.
In this case, the procedure takes place on the TSP portal (info from the Faculty Internship Office: https://www.architettura.uniroma1.it/uffici/ufficio-tirocini).
To be assigned, you must send the following to architettura1@uniroma1.it: a) the "Final Curricular Internship Report" certificate, which you receive at the end of the procedure from the platform itself; b) a description of the activities completed (for the 50 hours of activity) and related documentation, including photocopies.
509/99 students enrolled prior to the 2011-2012 academic year must email the 509 Training Activity Validation application ONLY to the Architecture Degree Program Office (c.u. architettura1@uniroma1.it) at least 60 days before their scheduled graduation date. Attaching, in sequential order, each credit assignment form issued by the instructors and any certificates or documents from activities completed independently, for a total of 18 credits.
Students enrolled in the 270/04 program prior to the 2011-2012 academic year must submit their 270 Educational Activity Validation application via email ONLY to the Architecture Degree Program Office at c.u.architettura1@uniroma1.it, attaching, in consecutive order, each credit assignment form issued by the instructors and any certificates or documents from independent activities, for a total of 11 credits (7 credits for scholarships, study trips, conference participation, etc. + 4 credits for IT skills).
